>>39834828I would agree with you 99% about the injury suffered towards some of the good music used in Jojo series simply by being associated with such a distasteful, grotesque anime*.
However, even though I still didn't like the diamond is unbreakable season, the ending theme "I want you" by Savage Garden I must admit was very well incorporated with the style, mood, and closing animation of the season. An excellent pick all around. I might even argue It is somewhere low on the scale of some of the best closing themes for an anime* series.
*I shudder and flinch to call the jojo series "anime" and to group It together with a category containing a plethora of works of art that Jojo is nowhere near worthy of standing along side of, however despite how unfathomably ugly and crude the general style, character designs, storyline, almost everything about It is... (one could say the general sense of the lack of taste and lack of class exhibited throughout the series is almost appalling),
despite all that, It is undeniable that jojo is so bizarre indeed, that has It is very unique and has Its own rightful place as an entirely original and imaginative series, there is absolutely nothing else like It. Even If the product of that imagination and original foundation is an utter abomination...
