not including starters because those are usually very good, also trying to keep gens unique (in general, catch abra and catch magnemite):
gen 1: nidoran-m
gen 2: abra
gen 3: ralts
gen 4: starly
b/w: darumaka
b2/w2: magnemite
x/y: aerodactyl (you can get this before gym 2 if you spend a bit of time smashing glittering cave rocks, plus aerodactylite is very easily accesible)
s/m: wingull (drizzle is really good lol)
us/um: hawlucha

Excadrill is a death machine too. Takes a bit of time to evolve but once it does things just fold to it's level up movepool alone.

Mudsdale is one of the best Pokemon for gen 7. I found it insanely good and I didn't even have Stamina. There's so few good Ground types in gen 7 as well. Palossand is pretty good but it takes forever to evolve whereas old mons are either late or hard to get, plus the Earthquake TM is postgame so you really want something that gets it by level.
