The problem is the launch 10-roll is fucking paid only. Unlike every other gatcha where they offer a free 10-roll when you start playing the greedy fucks at DeNA want you to pay for it. Paid GSSRs are usually reserved for anniversaries not on fucking launch day.

There's two different gems. Regular and Paid. If you get 3000 Gems from gameplay, you cant do the 10 guarenteed pull unless you buy money. The normal 10 pull is just.. 10 pulls.

Anyway, anyone know how to go beyond max level? It says it needs an item but no idea where to get.

This is just how guaranteed SSR's go in most games. FGO has it twice a year, Grablue has a Ticket every few months that lets you choose almost any SSR.

A good way to play games like this is to just never pay unless it guarantees an SSR.

its not the stored power that makes will good, its his passive that makes his stats unable to be lowered, so if you get sync attacked his stat ups will remain. but yea stored power hits super hard after a handful of buffs

You get an unlock level cap option after clearing out oh-so-much story (like 3 or 4 chapters). What you're looking at now is probably "increase potential" which tacks an extra star onto a character. If you pull a trainer you've already pulled 5 times, you get its star amount's corresponding item instead.
