>>39841507>the only thing holding back most humans and Pokémon's ability to communicate with each other is a language barrier.Well then we get back to the whole culture barrier thing - realistically, the lived experience of a pokemon and the lived experience of a human, especially one who grew up in a completely different world, are going to be nearly 100% incompatible. They may unconditionally love you anyways, I don't know for sure, but I don't think that would be satisfying for me. I can't tell you it won't be satisfying for you.
>But I do believe you'd be able to integrate just fine eventually.Sure, but what might you lose in the process? If we're looking at the pokemon world as represented in the official media we have, there's a lot of things that you experience here in our world that simply don't have an equivalent in theirs. That could get really frustrating depending on what you care about in life.
>There's nothing wrong with liking this world, but just because the Pokémon world's different doesn't mean it's boring. The point I'm trying to make with that is that, by nature of you not liking this world, you're focusing on what the pokemon world has that ours does not - you're more likely to be accepted, you can find a common interest with the vast majority of people, you don't have to worry about some of the threats seen in ours. But I see it the other way around, I'm focusing on all the things that the pokemon world lacks, because I need a lot of the things our world has. It's okay if you don't, but from my perspective the pokemon world would be miserable and dull. It might not be for you, I can't tell you that, but I can be sure it would be for me.
