I personally don't get what people see in these games anymore other than it being the most modern(at the time) bar this then there really isn't anything else to it. The "modern" traits age and are improved upon in other newer games. I used to genuinely feel gen 6 was undoubtedly the worst gen but the more I think about BW the less I think so. I think BW just gets a pass or rather is ignored because it's 2d and the 3d games are hated on as a collective. If BW was 3d then XY would get much less flack and XY>BW would be a more popular opinion. I think it's less a matter of which game is better and more which game is less shit.
