people like you who obsess over "MUH POKEMANIA" were never really fans of the series, you were fans of the social acceptance that the series had among your peers, which is why you dropped it at some point between the anime's failed gs ball arc and ruby/sapphire once it stopped being trendy. now you're back on the bandwagon because pokemon go, the '90s nostalgia fad, and the "nerd culture" fad made it trendy again. and you still act like you're the real fans, not the people who continued to support the series while it wasn't at peak popularity.
