There was planned a pokemon Z that was discarded for rushing sun/moon, but it hasnt Zygarde as mascot, the mascot was AZ's floette evolved into Florges wich has a Z shape.

This has to be the dumbest one. After Yveltal being the mascot for Y, Xerneas for X, instead of the third legendary Zygarde for Z, it would be Florges because it looks like an S in almost all works?(including the pic you posted)

Pokemon really don't lay eggs, at least not the ones we get at daycares, those are craddles as one npc in Sinnoh points out. Arceus creates most if not all pokemon directly and delivers them in pokemon eggs like in that HgSs event.

Well, AZ floette was more involved with the plot than Zygarde. Imagine an XY sequel were an arisen Team Flare is searching for AZ and the power of his pokemon, stealing, evolving and corrupting her.

Into what. The whole point about AZ Floette is that it is a pokemon not made for battles or war.
Zygarde being the complete lifeform would be much more relevant to the plot, without to mention that it is called the "Order Pokemon".

Shelmet/ escavalier's lines and a few others like the musketeers were originally meant to be gen 6 pokemon, but they were moved up to gen 5 to make the regional dex 150. This is mostly due to Kalos only having one new bug line whereas Unova had a bunch. Same with minor legendaries, except Kalos had none of those.
