I’m about to pick this up second hand. Looks unironically leaps and bounds better than Shit/Sucks. At least the Kanto region is tried and true.
I haven’t played it, but I imagine it to be as much of a downgraded FRLG as ORAS was a downgraded RSE, except without wild battles and only Kanto Pokémon. Sounds like shit, but its gonna be better than SM 1.5: 70 bucks edition. Only thing is I don’t think it’s worth investing in a switch for, so I probably won’t.

Its worse and catching everything in a pokeball is way more painful cause of the retarded rates and limited ways of raising your chance of catching. But I'm autistic about balls and I'm only catching one of each species.

Its got charming moments for sure but the affection being invisible and impossible to stop, riding pokemon also being linked to affection making the game ALWAYS easy unless you swap your team.

Really good changes in Pokemon availability, awful mechanics and battling without abilities feels dated.
