>>39851912prior to chapter 8, yeah i can attest to that. it was very much a rinse and repeat only with different pokemon slapped in here and there. i don’t think i died before that point. but into chapter 9 and definitely into the pokemon league, you need to be higher leveled, have the right combination of partners, and be able to do the right stuff at the right time. i have to assume it’s a bit of a wash if you cave in and pay but if you play it f2p, it definitely becomes more difficult later on, and isn’t *just* sync2win. the battling at its core can be flawed because it’s an f2p mobile game and that’s just what f2p mobile games are, but it’s definitely more complex and engaging than other f2p games, including pokemon go.
