The pokemon formula changes too little, each game is basically thre same shit minus a few changing gimmicks and gradual refinements, of which XY has 6 gen's worth: gen 3 doesn't have the physicalspecial split, amie, super training, PSS, or online in general, gen 2 doesn't have abilities and decent moves for every type, gen 1 doesn't have held items, bag pockets, and an unbalanced as fuck type chart and no special spolit, etc.
People shit on XY and ORAS because they could have been much better, and they were a step back from gen 5 and 4 arguably; but you re a delusional moron if you think they are actually bad.
