Around 2012 I remembered how obsessed with pokemon i was. I had stopped caring about pokemon around mid gen 4, then i started using the internet some years later and I googled pokemon. I went on their official page and they had a dex feature. I started browsing the dex and was surprised to see there were pokemon in the dex beyond palkia, giratina and the likes. I liked a lot of the new mons and it rekindled my love for the franchise. I got around to playing it around 2014, after i had played one game from every previous gen. The game felt like a culmination of every game mechanic that had led up to that point. I loved how alive the sprites felt, the music was dope and it was pretty comfy.
