Ratings mean shit in this age.

What this actually means that Sword & Shield don't have enough content to make a full anime series out of. Meaning that they're the most shallow and barebones Pokemon games to date.

I think the anime just gets progressively more experimental in every generation. Whatever the fuck we're getting this time is the logical escalation.
