So the new anime is supposed to have feature each region (whether its a whole new anime or a mini series as a build up to Galar anime is up to debate)
Masters also features each region by having characters of every region

The anime always was a promo machine for the games and i doubt they're doing this new anime to promote Masters. I feel like Sword and Shield might have something that will tie all regions together like maybe PWT 2 with trainers have full teams. This would also promote Masters and would make sense with galar being so big about Pokemon battles (stadiums, live tv streams etc)
