>>39868142>I see, just like in the animeCharizard, Ash lost his first league due to a sleeping Pokemon, Charizard.
>Because Nanu wrongly judged the match you idiot. He thought Rowlet had fainted, and had no idea it was sleeping. Hala knew about Rowlet's tendency to fall asleep so he intervenedThe decision was reached. Nobody is going to say the Falcons won against the Patriots because a Falcons player had actually been asleep the entire time. A decision is a decision. Ash lost.
>First of all he didn't lose, the judge incorrectly declared the result. Secondly, Charizard wasn't sleeping, he just didn't obey Ash. See above, also Charizard was asleep. The only difference is that Charizard disobeyed, but that isn't the reason the match was called. It was finally called when Charizard fell asleep, the match was still going on despite him disobeying Ash. And again if you're wanting to use game logic, then Ash shouldn't have lost then because a disobeying Pokemon doesn't mean shit.
>You have to be incredibly autistic to think this is the worst case of bad writing in the pokemon series...Didn't say it was, I said it was among the worst. Which it is, sure it's no Thunder Armor or Sinnoh League for instance, but it's down there in terms of stupidity.
If you're going to have Rowlet be asleep, then don't have a ref call a decision only to reverse it moment's later all for a joke we've seen a thousand times already. Just show Rowlet sleeping and have Ash run to wake him up. It's poor writing, I'm sorry. You can defend it all you want, but there wouldn't be such outrage over the moment if it wasn't contrived and poorly written.
