That said, a Nintendo Direct is most likely coming within the first week due to other factors and they have tried to preempt Corocoro most of the time since worldwide releases so if they don't want to be utterly overshadowed, now is the time.
Monday is unlikely however as it's Labor Day in the US and Canada. They're obviously not going to pay someone overtime to upload a YouTube video. Tuesday or Wednesday makes the most sense since the Direct on Thursday makes most sense.
