>TaurosSelf-explanatory if you watch a few RBY games, it has basically no reliable stops and uses its insane crit rate and potential for hax to clean out games. Most games end up featuring a Tauros mirror at some point, and most games are still winnable if Tauros is still alive.
>Chansey>Starmie/ZamThey're the defensive backbone of every team and your safest options against opposing Chansey/Starmie/Zam. They spread status while eating your opponent's status, are the best Psychics while being some of the safer Psychic checks, etc. Physical beaters give them trouble, but physical beaters don't want to eat Psychics or paralysis, which brings you back to needing your own fatmons to absorb those moves and make an opening. There's just no reason not to have them on your team, playing without them would be suboptimal.
>SnorlaxIt's unique among the good physical beaters because it's also a real bitch to kill, especially now that Body Slam can't paralyze it. You generally need drops, crits, an Explosion, or your own Lax to do it in. Every team needs a way to pressure the Chansey+Psychic cores early on and Lax is a natural fit to do that; it's just essential to the way modern RBY is played, especially since it demands mirrors like the other must-have mons.
