I got a bit bored of it once I finished the three E4, but I haven't finished the postgame in Unova yet. I'm thinking of going back there, but I might also just start over and do things a bit differently this time.

It's more like a singleplayer with some co-op elements and quick communication features than a real MMO, still fun if you just want a Pokemon fix and replay the games with a new twist.

If you haven’t played it yet, then I absolutely recommend that you do. As the other anon said, it’s just the normal games with a new twist, but it’s definitely worth trying it and see for yourself. Personally I’d play PokeMMO over the regular FRLG/E/BW anytime.

The social aspect is nice if you can find some people to chat with. Pretty sure the /vp/ team is mostly dead at this point, it was really nice for the first couple months but I think everyone got tired of waiting for Sinnoh.

I honestly don't feel that there's many cons to playing it. Yeah it's a tiny bit more challenging but it's still pretty close to the real games, if you're not an autist that will throw a tantrum when a gym leader hits you with a coverage move that they don't have in the base games (this used to happen a lot in the generals) then I don't see why you wouldn't at least enjoy playing through the story.

the novelty is pretty much its fun point. its a better way to play 2 out of the 3 games mechanically and better way to play all three if you like the idea of having all these pokemon between them. highly recommend over the vanilla games. the online aspect doesnt add much though aside from a shop, playing with a friend helps, battling after every badge.

Pretty much the perfect phone game for Pokemon. Easy to play and do competitive/battle tower with my irl friend on my shitphone. I wouldn't play it on a computer though, there's probably better games for your time. Also, you might as well join the /vp/ team FUG but it's mostly dead since everyone is waiting for sinnoh. When Sinnoh hits though....

Also in addition to Sinnoh theyre going to add custom dungeons for hidden abilities so expect not only a massive surge of players but also more players sticking around too

While I can see the flaws with gen 7 and 8, some of my favorite pokemon designs were from those generations, anon. So I still wish they could do it.

Fairy is garbage. So no.

My favorite pokemon got a much needed buff when megas came (Mawile) but I still wouldn't want it in the game also.
