Roxanne's Nosepass was very cool looking for early game stuff but gives the impression of being stronger than it is. 3/10
Don't like Brawly. Roark did his geeky caveman thing better immediately after him. 1/10

Flannery is stupid; a real hot-head! Overrated by far!! 2/10
Norman has the best gym in the whole series. Besides the cool technique gallery, he is a layered character which one can tell wants to love like any father but also is q drunk, neglectful, and physically abusive father who can only relate to his family in battle or love-making. A really surprising subtext for a Pokemon game, but they pull it off well. 10/10
Winona is a weak presence after the Devon scope stuff and her team is all over the place. 2/10
Tate and Liza are overrated just by being gimmicky. The extra bit of dialog added in ORAS to give them anything to say at all shows they were almost as weak as Winona the first time. Battle sucka because you are 100% just going to use surf on them since you need it to get to their gym. 8/10
Wallace and Juan have unmemorable teams that just use all the water Pokemon in the game like Winona with birds. The ice tile puzzle was neat stuff though. 6/10, 3/10
