That's exactly it, OP. I love Golisopod. But he's completely pigeonholed by Emergency Exit. You're basically forced to spam priority attacks.

The ability would work on a sweeper-based pokemon but Golisopod's speed makes it awkward in practice

Without a priority move it would be liability on your team. Now if it didn't have EE, it would become allot less predictable
