I think I'm going to start again, I already have the Detective Pikachu series Bulbasaur figure and the Pokemon Center attack arts figure on the way. I'm feeling pokenostalgic again lately, so why not.
You know, one thing I like about this plush is that it's about as big as I always imagined Bulbasaur to be. Since we're talking about life sized stuff, in my head, I pictured Bulbasaur being the size of a dog, like a bulldog maybe. This made sense to me because in the anime, Ash's Bulbasaur was never depicted any bigger than Pikachu, and Pikachu isn't huge. But then the new live movie came out and the Bulbasaur in that look like baby elephants, and apparently that's accurate to what's always been in the Pokedex. Really bugged me, so I'm just going to stick with kid me's idea and keep thinking of them as bulldog sized oinion frogs like always.
