Spinda doesn't have individual textures or models for each forms (it uses an algorithm to randomly generate each form). Alcremie however, does, consequently taking up more storage space and obviously requiring more effort to conceive each of its forms.

Arceus, changes it's type depending on plate, makes sense being the pokemon God.

Vivillon, neat idea to get people to trade from different parts of the world.

Silvally, see Arceus.

Minior, meteor tails are different colors depending on the minerals they're made of.

Alcreamie did not need 16 pointless forms, 2-3 would've been more than enough, 16 is overkill, it's gamefreak, they're going to act as if these 16 forms are their own pokemon, excuse for lack of new Pokemon.
