I genuinely haven't liked a single one. The only good one is Corviknight and even that I could take or leave. This after Gen 6 and 7 had very strong dexes, in my opinion. Two of the best in the series and definitely the only redeeming factor of all those games. But now... the games are still shit, but even the Pokemon don't appeal to me. God damn it...

I'll agree some of it was fucking awesome. Alolan Vulpix and Ninetails and Alolan Marowak were jaw dropping. Things like Bewear Vikavolt and Toucannon were really good too. Then you have things like fucking Alolan Persian and Incineroar.

Unironically swsh has completely killed any interest I had in the series. I only even got on /vp/ today to talk some shit for the last time, haven't been on here in weeks and was reminded by the direct. It's been very good for me actually, I've been going to the beach and the gym in my time off and met a few cool people. So to any of you who know they're going to be dissapointed when the games come out, stop following any news and spend the time doing something else good for you and move on with your lufe.

Gen 1-6 were all pretty good IMO, even if some designs were clear misses (y'all know which I'm talking about, mostly ones based on objects). Gen 7 and 8 look very "cartoony," especially gen 8.

I don't like any of the designs either, not even Corvi, he's just Skarmory 2.0
