For any gaijin wondering, Cramorant japanese name "ウッウ" comes from "うっぷ "which is the sound for burp and "ウッ" which is the sound for choke.

You know the guy from South Park who pronounces "planetarium" as "plane-arium"? It's the sound between "plane" and "arium". The dash in the Jangmo-o line's names and the apostrophe in Hau'oli and Ula'ula are pronounced with the same sound.
