I’ll never understand the logic of “if Ash wins, we’ll have to end everything” from the writers. Ash’s character is based around the fact that he constantly wants to battle strong opponents. Him stopping after one league win wouldn’t align with that at all, seeing as their are countless regions, gyms, leagues and trainers that I’m sure he would want to challenge.
