Removing Pokemon from a Pokemon game has always been controversial. And this time, there's a whole slew of other talking points to go along with it. From the graphics and animation, to the money, or the Switch being home to plenty of other heavy hitting titles already.

I guess its fortunate for them that SM and Let's GO have taught a younger generation to expect smaller rosters...

Every time a thread popped up asking what to cut I always said too many Pokémon was bullshit because there wouldn't be too many when there were 10,000, let alone coming up on 1,000.

Furthermore I specifically almost always stated Game Freak would never be stupid enough to do that. The last time was early June this year...

BTFO in the most inconceivable way for the one shred of belief I still had in their competency.
