So what's your opinion on pokemon camp? Is it just amie v2?
To me the curry part seems really silly, it's ok to have but why is it such a hyped up key part?

It can raise stats, which means it's likely part of EV gain methods. It also boosts friendship (playing raises affection remember).

Wondering if it's just pseudo stats or actual buffs to evs/ivs. If it's the latter then it's well worth the effort but if it's only affects the story game by making it easier like amie did that seems real dull

It's two seperate effects - curry raises stats/friendship, playing with the toys gives the affection bonuses. I'd nearly say the stat gains are permanent, like with the vitamins (again, this may tie into the Poké Jobs EV gain methods, maybe you can make a curry to reset EV's like the white bag from Super Training in XY even).

Nah man, you misinterpreted it. The Pokemon is also eating the curry, it's just that GF is a bunch of lazy fucks so instead of seeing them with anything actually in their hands, we just see them holding out their hands and taking a bite of air.
Like, they ddin't even put a plate or bowl there, just the empty air with the Pokemon holding out their hands and munching on nothing. I would say they recycled the Pokepuff animations, but they actually seem to have at least edited them so the mon is holding out a hand/paw/whatever.

It's gonna look super dumb for mon that don't have limbs.

Wild Area is so disappointing. Just a big empty field for you to run into some mons from older games. People will use it to get the 3 new mons with useful HAs from max raids and then never touch it again.

Friendship and affection are two different stats.

Sylveon uses affection to evolve, Umbreon and Espeon friendship, for example.
