Ideally, anything above 100. The lack of new Pokémon in Gen 6 and 7 killed my hype, as I’m one of those autists that only likes to use new Pokémon in a run.

OP's pie chart does not show Mega forms or regional variants as new Pokemon, so he is gay. All of those are new in the sense that they potentially change how that Pokemon is used in battle as well as the time and effort it takes to take that idea for the new Pokemon, develop it, and put it in the game.

Regional variants and megas are still the same mons. Alolan Vulpix is still a Vulpix and Mega Ampharos is still an Ampharos.

No, new Pokémon are the driving force of Pokémon.

80 is a good number of new pokemon for me. It's about quality though. I would rather have 50 good pokemon than 100 bad ones. Looking at the quality of the galar pokemon so far I hope they have 100+ so I can find something good somewhere there.

I'm still pissed that the gen 6+ have truly skimped out on the new pokemon department, mainly because there is tons of new ideas that they could try out from a region's real location.
