You do realise if any non-TPC/GF staff got access to physical copies of the game, they'd be HEAVILY monitored? (I'd even bet Affleck tried to take a photo or copy the game file or something and that's why he got shitcanned).
But yeah, someone's sat at home with a copy of the game and decided to leak a new pokémon, that's really believeable, with the game still a month away from going gold.
