>>39930292You know I agree with the outrage about the removal of the National Dex but all this animation criticism and comparisons to other games on the Switch just seem to be a bunch of people who haven’t actually played said games or have but are baiting people who haven’t. Like yea, GF said the Pokémon models are made from scratch, but it’s obvious at this point that they were talking about the rigging and textures. It’s a large development load to keep on doing for every Pokémon game. And they could end up hiring more people but we saw last year and before that they DID put out applications to hire more staff for SWSH which people have seemingly forgot about. And then this guy and others repeatedly dismiss the new player animations and the animations of new Pokémon, as if the only thing that matters are the old Pokémon.
Also, in regards to other games, BOTW has 12 enemy types, all with recolors or different versions of the same enemy. There are 5 boss types, 4 of which all have their own recolors or different versions. But since the overworld is so huge it’s okay? How about DQXI that has the same 12 NPC models all throughout the game, same enemy models from past games, same OST from past games, limited attack animations unless it’s for special abilities or the “Z-Move cutscene” Pep Powers? The DQ artstyle and character models has also been the exact same since it went 3D yet that’s fine but SWSH and SM’s artstyle looking similar is suddenly bad?
I went onto this guy’s twitter and looked at his replies and noticed he is very sensitive to criticism of his own content. If he makes a tweet or video and someone makes a counter argument he waits until his followers attack said person and then goes “heh yea what a retard ;)”. What a jackass. He’s really amassing a following of retards that don’t know how to think for themselves
