I really like the concept of the Wild Area and hope it's a sign that they're will to make an actual 3D game soon, but with all the reasonable backlash and some nitpicking, I feel like that chance will be lost. They're never going to acknowledge the actual faults of the idea or the game, they're just going to perceive the backlash as people not wanting 3D environments and it's going to be gone completely with the next gen.
