Hell we've seen it in the anime before too and Pokemon trying to eat each other back in Season 1 (granted it was little, but it was there).
>>39945955Actually Tapejarids were primarily Omnivores, leaning far more towards vegetarian diets than they were eating insects and vertebrates. The stereotypical Pterosaur we know of was Carnivorous and fed on fish and other oceanic animals.
Also the Pokedex says Aerodactyl eat meat by serration of their throats.
