>>39951985It feels like the design IS the teapot. It's a really fancy ass teapot. They just shoved a generic purple ghost in it- Except a generic purple ghost would look good. It's more like a slime with noodle arms that we're being told is a ghost, and we're also being told is supposed to be made out of tea even though it clearly isn't.
I would have much preferred a plain looking teapot with a ghost with actual effort put into its design, maybe one that ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE IT'S MADE OF TEA. I genuinely do not have much hope for this generation, it's shaping up to be worse than 7, and I honestly really like Gen 6's dex so I'm not just being one of those "older=better" guys.
Between this and impidimp, or mons with obvious fuckups in their designs that could easily be better than they are like duraludon or drednaw, or Cramorant where it's literally just a cormorant painted blue and the only unique things about it come from its battle animations holy shit i hate when they do this, it's just not looking good.
No actually I'm going on a tangent, I really fucking hate when VITAL parts of a pokemon's design or concept come from their battle animations, making them just look completely uninspired when not in motion. When you're designing a pokemon try to make sure it actually looks like something when it's sitting still, jesus christ.
Anyways. I hate Polteageist. I don't hate objectmons, I don't hate haunted mons, I hate Polteageist.
