with that said, with all the randomly rolled shit like natures, ivs, and abilities all being a variable actually finding a worthwhile gigantamax pokemon if it cannot be passed down will be a surefire shitshow. injects will often be the only realistic way to get one in any amount of time that isn't maddening unless they let you choose your 31s and 0s, your wanted nature, and one of its abilities straight up. it'll be even worse if you want a shiny gigantamax, if they can even be shiny.
like, christ, if gigantamax can be bred, it'll be more rare than a properly bred competitive shiny. it's already bullshit enough hoping that the destiny knot doesn't choose to drop a required stat in shiny breeding, not touching abilities thrown in. I was one of those faggots that got a perfect purple pincer in xy within 20 eggs. the second one I tried for in protean greninja had six shiny froakie tossed to wonder trade and several thousand eggs before I got one that had the right ivs, shiny, and protean. I really don't want to think about breeding a shiny gigant hidden ability whateverthefuck.
