I do a lot of research on buyers and pokemon merch before I buy anything, to avoid accidentally purchasing a bootleg. Some bootlegs are nice, but it really doesn't feel good having something that's obviously fake. Luckily I haven't really got a bootleg since I started collecting for real, and I mostly collect plush dolls of my favorite Pokemon anyway.
Pic related is what I have so far. The next piece I am looking for is a Banpresto Porygon-Z plush, which looks Pokedoll-esque, and very cute.

If you say so. I have bought a couple of the Pokemon Fit plushes and found them to be pretty low quality compared to most other official Pokemon plush. Several aren't even weighted to "sit" as advertised.

The insects like Weedle and Caterpie are particularly shitty, pretty blatant false advertising there. The Charizard line isn't much better.

And you are literally the only person I have ever met compliment the Eevee line as well; my Eevee will sit up and support itself at least but the ears are messed up and off center, but that's nothing compared to the blues ears, which also fails to support itself unless they are propped just so.

I was gonna buy a Jolteon later, but after what I have seen I am done with this line.

You can make the insects support themselves by using the tag to create tension and setting something on top of it. It looks like that's what OP is doing; pulling the tag back right and setting a book on top of it so that Weedle will stand up.

It's really shitty you have to do that, but the quality of Pokemon Center plushies have always been far shittier than they make themselves out to be. If the knockoffs weren't retarded enough to leave needles in their plushies or make them smell like shit they could have driven Pokemon Center out of business years ago.

The ears could be better, I should add a bit of stuffing to them to make them stand up better but my Vaporeon really seems fine. The ears stand up without support, and it sits on its own aswell.
Mine came from the Jap pokecenter, I don't know if that makes any difference.
I'm not saying you are wrong, but I don't see your criticisms in my plushies.

I can't tell about your Vaporeon but your Eevees ears look off center too.

But you also have to remember that the dog-like quadrupeds are the easiest to make "sit". They advertise every one of these as being able to "sit" on their own, but several simply aren't capable of supporting themselves.

Be careful with Wal-Mart, they do carry Pokemon Center merch but they carry other brands too, and more importantly the plush they sell aren't wrapped so children grab them and smear shit all over them before putting them back. I have found plush like Snubull, Psyduck, and Marshadow completely destroyed with shitstains, yet they remain on the shelves for forever.

I won one from a theme park called Carowinds once. It was pretty low quality though.

No joke, I found better quality pokemon plush on clearance for $2.50 for sale at Walmart. They even supported themselves unlike the theme park garbage.

And yeah, that is a fair point. Some Pokemon just don't have the body shape to 'sit' well.
