I used to have a black kitty who was really small but energetic, she was my best friend, so of course when I saw Litten I was very excited and planned to name her after my cat. Unfortunately, she ended up passing away due to sudden organ failure, all in the span of 6 days, and I doubled down on the Litten homage idea. Thought she'd turn into a glorious panther or tiger, and having such a Pokemon named after her would be a nice way to represent her strong will and literal "panther in the body of a kitty" like she was.
And then the leaks happened, and when I saw Incineroar I thought "w-well, maybe a wrestler could represent that idea as well.. right?" but once the game came out and I saw the model just.. no. I was so disappointed, never evolved her past Torracat. Incineroar is such a joke.
