Pokemon masters and good trainers don't fail 6 times only to luck out at the 7th. They also don't go to a new region and get punked out by an unevolved Pokemon that they should easily beat. Oh and they really don't get some of their badges cause the gym leaders felt sorry for beating 'em.

The Kalos Controversy was too big. The fucking preview for the post-league episode was forcibly removed by Youtube because it was disliked to oblivion. Ash may become a legendary trainer because the execs are now afraid to have him lose again which is ironic given that they were so adamant on having him lose leagues.

yeah Ash cares a lot about pokemon and the social interaction between them, but he'd be better suited as a pokemon researcher vs a trainer. in my opinion.

Ever since the Orange Archipelago arc began Ash has been a solid trainer. He had a hiccup in the first 50 episodes of Best Wishes but got back on his feet again after that.
