It's a shame he couldn't have won it in the Kalos league. Ash winning Alola instead of Kalos is equivalent to Goldberg getting buried at Summerslam 2003 by Triple H, only to win the title a month later when he really needed the win earlier. Like they give him the pity win after he already ran out of steam, after he already had his momentum taken away from him by a bullshit loss.
