I can understand people who think the dex cut is a good thing, even though I ultimately disagree.
I can understand people who tolerate the lameness in things and just want to enjoy another Pokemon game, even though I believe Pokemon can be and should be much better.
I can understand people who find the idea of accusing a game development company of 20+ years of incompetence or laziness to be extremely bold and harsh, even though I have doubts based on Game Freak's questionable development decisions and the evidence of investigators with the models. (The datamining might actually vindicate Game Freak for all we know.)
What I don't understand are those who are complacent and proud of it. Why do people blatantly embarrass themselves on social media by trying to make themselves resemble as the very "consume product" strawman many critics have created? Just because there are rabid critics doesn't justify being stupid. One can defend Game Freak without being a bootlicker, right?
I know that typing all this is a waste of time. I just need to peel this off my scrotum right now.
