The Ashnime has some damn good animation at times, I can't deny that. But contrary to its pulp sister, it's dumb. Like, really dumb. It feels like a baby show most of the time. Pretty much any time there isn't a battle going on the dialogue, sound effects, and overall attitude produces such a perfect cringefest.
