I used one in Renegade Platinum, if only for the reasons that he was retyped to Fighting/Flying and given significant buffs to his attack and speed stats. Regardless, I like him.

I think Ch'ding is the funniest name, but I also like DUX for its simplicity. Quacklin' is tryhard bullshit.

I did a mono-Flying Y play through with TWO Farfetch’d. One was a double dancer and one was a crit abuser. Plus Charizard, Swanna, Vivillon, and Swoobat.

It was my least favorite run of any game, and I’ve done mono-Poison in Black 2. Oddly, it’s just because I hated Charizard, Swoobat, and Swanna. The Vivillon was fine and the Farfetch’d were great.

What kind of Swoobat did you use? I always thought it would be fun to try one in an in-game run with Simple, and then abuse Calm Mind/Amnesia + Stored Power.

I leveled DUX all the way to 100 in Red Virtual Console in April and jokingly told myself “as soon as I do this they’re finally going to give Farfetch’d an evolution”

Sure enough not even 2 full months later we get the Sirfetch’d news. I really hope ol’ DUX will still be able to evolve, but even if he can’t I’m still so glad this is finally happening.

I didn't know crits ignored stat boosts at the time, so I set it up to +6 speed and attack against the champion and spammed Cut.

Makes me laugh, Dux is great, but Ch'ding is just a whole nother' level of nickname.
The fanart I've seen of that pixelated image looks nice. Crossing my fingers it's actually good.

See I’m kind of afraid of that, but given that the leak mentions Farfetch’d getting a regional evolution but no mention of an alternate form for him makes me hopeful that it’s more like Alolan Marowak or Raichu. The text on the website does seem to imply this new evolution is a farfetch’d who has survived many battles, so that could be referring to the original rather than a new Galarian form cause it seems like a tongue in cheek reference to Farfetch’d struggling for so long, but time will tell!

Because he's my boy and deserves a chance to shine. He was on my first team against the Elite 4 (Because he was my HM slave and EXP all made it my second highest level pokemon) and now he can be on my latest team against the Elite 4
