Why is everyone saying Farfetch’d will get a gala for and a evo? I thought the leak was saying it was a regional evolution for Farfetch’d like Alolan Marowak

Because Farfetch'd doesn't have an evolution. You can't give it a regional evolution without giving it an evolution if it doesn't have an evolution.

At that point, isn't it just a regular cross-gen evo? Also going from Normal/Flying to pure Fighting would be odd. Galarian Farfetch'd evolving into Sirfetch'd makes the most sense to me.

Machamp, Conkeldurr, and Mienshao. As long as these three exist, there can be no interesting pure fighting types unless it's something bizarre like a special attacker.

I think its going to get exclusive moves I bet.
Like its pure fighting but it probably has a unique typeless move to pierce through defensive boosts or hit heavy armored mons for piercing damage.

Obstagoon likely evolves by level, as far as we know this Farfetch is some "evolve holding an item or whatever" shit. And even then we had multiple G1 guys in Alola evolve from a normal pokemon like Cubone and Exegcute.

Alolan Marowak isn't exactly a regional evolution since Cubone evolves into a Marowak like always does. Yes, that Marowak has a regional form, but it's not exclusive of that region because all Cubone can evolve into Marowak.
People use regional evolution to the shit like Zigzagoon: Any Zigzagoon can evolve into Linoone, even non-galarian Zigzagoon, so galarian Linoone isn't a regional evolution. Now Obstagoon IS a regional evolution beacuse it's completely impossible to get one without the regional form of Linoone. Now apply that to Farfetch'd and its new evolution, Sirfetch'd

Not quite the same thing. That essentially gained 2 types at once and since 2 is the limit they ditched the old type. This would be ditching 2 types at once instead of just replacing 1 which is odd. The only Pokemon that ditch a type without replacing it are Bellossom (split evo where its counterpart keeps the typing) and Mega Aggron (temporary battle form).

On the other hand, I can see the logic. It becomes flightless so it loses Flying, and Normal is generally considered a disposable type so it loses that, too.
