Then dark is actually good as a stab just not good as coverage and there are only 3 dark types in OU.
This only leaves you with hitting the secondary typing which people are going to have coverage for. Furthermore you most definitely are not hitting with SE most of the time, yes you want to be but that is completely unrealistic furthermore you just gave the mons an insane amount of immunities for literally no downsides since you were already getting hit by SEs anyways.
