When you're on the main menu screen (flashy cinematic thing), depending on if you're playing games before Gen 6 or Gen 6 and after, you want to simultaneously press and hold Up, Select, and B or Up, X and B respectively. Now, you'll notice that it says something like "Are you sure you want to delete your save" or something like that. Select yes, as this cheat code will not work otherwise. Then start the new save and you should be able to do the jump cheat after going through the tutorial. Have fun with your new feature!
