It only lasted 11 episodes because they either rushed a battle or dragged it out longer than it need be. And 90% of them sucked.

No, it cements that it's pretty much the worse. People didn't care about the show, the league win had people surprised but it was split between people going "HE WON" and "the league was shit", the league itself had to be made easy-mode and new because Ash hadn't won a normal league where the trainers were better than the vast majority of Alola's entrants, and the next gen is coming up where the league will end up being normal, making the previous point more apparent.
