I mean, mostly of behaviours (except biological ones) are all related to society cultural evolutions, which means that they were created by humans. So if in this society women use make up, doesn't mean that men can't, because it is a limit strictly imposed by society's phylosophy and not from an actual rational and practical point which justifies that.
This is basically what anthropologists study, behaviours in society.
Also, there's no way to prove the homosexuality is a mental illness. Because it's a process that comes on its own naturally in many individuals in this world.
Homosexual people are just hated because of religion's propaganda during 400 AD, which basically implied that it is unnatural just because they don't produce babies.
