As did win a league finally, but it was kind of rushed. The 3v3 was simply a writing move to save time. But this was an easier win for Ash so it can seem like he can only win when the opponent is also easy, if he gets absolutely crushed by Kukui it will be like the Rams in the Superbowl. I mean there weren’t any entrance restrictions for the league.
It was just a move by the writers to “apologize” for XY. I’m happy for Ash, but sad he likely won’t win again or will even be rebooted.
