The start was very promising with the nerfed Pikachu plot and evil Team Rocket.
Then It became shit.
They could have at least give Ash a fucking Emboar for a chance of redemption.
(I think Emboar Is cool and got cucked by its type, otherwise more people would have liked It)

To this day I still can't spot the difference between BW and SM. Both are lackluster and uneventful. The only thing that separates SM from the rest of the series is that he won. But that doesn't excuse how shitty SM was as a whole

No, ash was a "straight man" in OS. The comedy was pretty similar to Gintama. SM is literally just exaggerated memefaces and poop jokes for toddlers.
