Ignoring the fact they sacrificed the entire battle frontier for it, this is the ultimate post-game area:

>Breeding is made very easy thanks to how accessible it is
>IV judge nearby
>Screen rotated and you can change the BGM music
>Aesthetically pleasing.

I'm torn on the ORAS postgame island.
If they wooden jetty led to another island with the frontier, it would be near perfect. As is, the Battle Tower tease was an outright slap in the face.

Honestly, they should have trolled us with the hole "Battle Frontier project is getting started."

Have the maison be locked with something saying "Coming soon!" and then release an update after the first week or month that has a ferry at the end of the wooden jetty to lead you to the Frontier itself.

Like much of ORAS, the additions were good, very good in the Resort's case, they just flake in the face of what was lost. Thought was clearly put into this.

That's what confuses me the most because of how much they try to push VGC and competitive battling.
It's like they want people to just inject everything, despite adding features that make getting good Pokemon easier like the IV Judge being built into the PC and Bottle Caps.

Switch hacking is already basically done. In fact the Switch, unlike other Nintendo handhelds, DIDN'T have its hacking scene driven by people trying to hack Pokemon for a change. Then again, for all I know we might get the equivalent of a browser exploit once SS comes out so maybe it could get even better.

how is giving us the auto rotating bike island with all the items sellers and the daycare at the same place "wrong"?
if anything ORAS is my favorite game these past years because it made postgame a breeze. The QR bases with EXP were so good too.

The music choices are shit though. "Show me around", really? It's the absolute worst remix too, it pisses me off, I always mute it when it comes up. Where are Lilycove City, Routes 119 and 120, Meteor Falls...? Come on.

This was pretty much the sole redeeming factor of ORAS, the copy pasted maison is still awful but the QoL improvements were excellent. The complete 180 they pulled with those in SM was one of many reasons I consider those games unplayable.
