Nope. Fully modeled and animated. It's not particularly difficult because of the lack of detailed texturing.

This fakemon is so ugly. Clashing circles and lines everywhere. 8 colors but somehow still boring. Just a fucking cat with wings. Hooves for no reason. Sand coming out of its fucking tail because uh ground type amirite? Not even the best sphinx in the competition. Looks like shit.

I genuinely don't believe it's possible to predict what a pokemon should look like with even 50% accuracy. I do agree with you in this case though. It's too obvious a combination of boring concept and an ordinary chameleon.

changing the colors on a model takes considerably less time than actually making a model. literally all you have to do is drag and drop the texture into photoshop and shift the hue by like 5 and then put it back
