Is grass type useless in single player games?
At least that's how I feel right now. I play Ultra Moon and I completely skipped NDS and previous 3DS Pokemon games. Everything was like new to me. But so far (Poni Island) I feel like my grass owl starter is pretty much useless as everything does double damage and there is no need for grass attacks when I have both Vaporeon and Raichu on team. Water already covers what grass beat and against water I have electric. Likewise, I don't even use my Espeon. I constantly feel like my team is overall weak too.
Or Im missing something here and Grass type is actually useful?
